OMG! we were busy today! Had a paramedic student and usually that means that we are at a standstill....not this guy. we had a car wreck (MVA motor vehicle accident) first thing this morning. air lifted one to the closest trauma hospital and took one by ground ambulance (one we flew died) then ran around like chickens with our heads cut off, till afternoon when we had another MVA, head on again 1 air lifted and one by ambulance. (they both made it ok) then ran around again, motorcycle accident, laceration, seizures... stop , freeze no mo!!! played poker with the guys at the firehouse, and now Im pooped and glad to be in my little room in my comfy little bed! sorry I missed everyone today, hope you all had a good day. I am working again today( saturday) another 48 hour shift...woo hoo , need the money! feel pretty good today, hope you guys do too!

Another one who does not do things by halves!(Just written to another DS person whose Mum was hit by a train!)Kept going once for 48 hrs., - studying for final exams - was done in for next 3 days - You must get used to it - or something. Don\'t envy you - tough work, esp. if you are patching up & moving little ones. Rest up for a bit PLEASE. Fond regards JaneD.

Cripes girl... get some rest... try to relax... stressful job you have.. i know someone has to do it.. and i admire you for it...sigh... takes a strong person and im not talking physcially to be able to do what you do hon....

glad you are feeling so good. but don\'t over do , rest when you can.
I don\'t know how you do 48 hours straight! I can barely go for 12 to 14 before I\'m done in. Do you do 48 and then get 48 - 72 off? I sure hope you get time for some R and R! You have a tough job, but it sounds like you\'re very good at it. Keep up the good work, but take care of yourself!
