I HAVE FOUND HIM! THE WORLDS SMARTEST PHYSICIAN! HE'S HERE IN KENTUCKY! COME SEE HIM! On a more serious note.....WHY OH WHY CANT I GET A DX? I CANT EVEN GET A  DX FOR MY FREAKIN ANKLE! HOW HARD IS IT TO SAY SPRAIN OR STRAIN.......lmaohe he he he he he he he he he he he he he he.........I twisted my ankle at work a little over 3 weeks ago , right....so it dosent want to heal still hurts like heck and wearing an ace wrap and taking NSAIDS (never mind the fact that I take an anti-inflammatory already) hasn't helped. so I decided to go to .....dun dun dun dun.....BUSINESS HEALTH....Yes, its true, I took the leap! instead of going to a real doctor I went to the doc in a box! ( no offense to any docs in the boxes that are actually competent) and after much deliberation, he decided (because of the x-rays) it wasnt broken but in fact it was ..can I have a drum roll please....................RIGHT ANKLE PAINhe then suggested I use an ace bandage (mentioned above) and take ibuprophen (NSAID mentoned above) and see him in a week. I responded with a  BLANK STARE so he says "your'e not smiling cause you just worked 24 hours and are really tired right?" and  I said (because I hate confrontation) that I just wondered what was wrong with my ankle...... BLANK STARE 2 (the sequel) So I am home now, doing what I ve done for my ankle for the last 3 weeks, but now I have an official dx......right ankle pain.......genius, pure genius.......

I am sensing a wee little bit of sarcasm here....Here is what Wikipedia has to say about sarcasm:

Sarcasm[I] is the sneering, jesting, or mocking of a person, situation or thing. It is strongly associated with irony, with some definitions classifying it as a type of verbal irony intended to insult or wound[1][2][3][4][5][6][7] stating the opposite of the intended meaning, e.g. using \"that\'s fantastic\" to mean \"that\'s awful\".

It is used mostly in a humorous manner, and is expressed through vocal intonations such as over-emphasizing the actual statement or particular words. Use of sarcasm is sometimes viewed as an expression of concealed anger[8], annoyance and/or ignorance.

DOES IT FIT? LMAO....PINK KIM

Well - speechless - what to say: hope you get paid - if the ANKLE PAIN occurred at work & you get Workers\' Comp. - do you have that in US? I don\'t get the \"doc in a box? - is this some sort of paramedic - or a 5 min. specialist for $20? - I\'ve requently been told what I already know - had a whole med.Library at my command - new I had some sort of Rheumatoid factor arthritis with pregnancy younger d. - classic symptom: swelling & pain in first joint from the hand (the one below the rings-forgotten the anatomical term) - it still has not been diagnosed! And that was is 1976! How about that! Disturbed weather, such as now - multiple low fronts, make my fingers swell - but get plenty of exercise using keyboard. Not allowed to walk - bad for my spine, cos it\'s collapsing! When the car battery dies, life is difficult (in fact it means a new one $154.00) Now I can go out again! - Ain\'t life swell! Best wishes, JaneD.
