I told the nurse this morning that my patient had a histor of seizurey....what a ignoramus. and this afternoon I was trying to explain cardiac enzymes to another pt and said "everybody in the muscle" dang what an idiot, I inspire confidence as I go along.....not. my hands and arms arent co-operating today, the twitches and jerks seem to moved in also. and their friends the head bobbles....screw it... I guess this is the new me! better get used to it........

You go girl! For years, and years I tried to hide from strangers how I walked, talked, whatever at the time and now I\'m much, much better. I also say screw it - this is who I am NOW!
\"Everybody in the muscle\", just conjures up images of little tiny people in bikinis getting ready to dive into a big , warm red swimming pool. I suppose I really should get more sleep. I think you are fabulous with an attitude to match. Be well.-Jen

Rbear,
I\'ve been doing that sort of thing for over 9 years now - I DID hide for the first 18mths. - If you read my Journal (I\'m told I can be funny-but it\'s all accidental) fyou will see how I loose words- and explain things in complex ways - I can take time on the net, but one-on-one: WOW! Out come the oddest things. In June \'04 I took myself to Darwin during the dry season, & had to talk to everyone: Got a few funny looks, but told \'em I\'d had a stroke & that\'s the way I am. Everything is so much slower in the tropics - it was therapeutic. Don\'t worry if you make a mistake - just correct yourself if you are at work tho\' - o\'wise it could be a right mix up! It may well go; you never know with that disease. Take care now, JaneD.
you hang in there, all day willn\'t be bad, sometimes we have to take the bad with the good.
