I am so flipping confused and angry. I got my results back today from my MRIs. brain is fine no signs of MS, but c-spine is screwed!!! what the heck is spondylosis and facets disease????what do I do now, wait wait test test wait test . My CEO is also the CEO of the MRI center I went to and he was there when I picked up my reports. he says Im gonna need a full spine MRI. Now is my Neuro gonna turf me to another doctor, should I call my rheumy? yes I will dang it, and insist he see me. what the heck! I cant find any info on differential dx between MS and spondylosis and/or facets disease. ( my stupid reports are in my pics) I called neuro and nurse said "just wait till wednesday and the doctor will help you put the pieces together". Wednesday!?!?!?!?!?!?! what the heck do I do till then? lemme tell you, Im gonna go nuts...nuttier than I am already?   ROFLMFAO!

okay, breathe, its only 2 days and Im sure you will live. (talkin to my nutty self) I just wish I could find some info on these things to see if the symptoms are the same or similiar to MS.that would help greatly. but you guys, my friends that I have met in the last week, I love you guys and your stuck with me, whatever I have, even if its a headcold!!!!!!!

Okay talked to rheumy, and he's gonna evaluate my MRIs and get back to me. Much better than waiting for wednesday so neuro can turf me to rheumy. I am a step ahead.

still feel pretty horrible.....oh well poop happenssmiley-tongue-out.gif

Absolutely, we will be here even if it is a headcold!!! I know you probably already thought of it, but have you checked WebMD? I hope you find your answers!

You have arthritis in your neck. The loss of height between vertebae causes the discs to protrude or even herniate. Spondylosis can compress nerves causing the tingling and \'zings\' in arms and legs. It can also cause balance problems, bowel/bladder problems and muscle weakness. Direct steroid injections can help as well as physical therapy. They can fix surgically by doing a fusion...but that\'s last resort.

Well my dear - you have a stuffed spine, as I do also: but that\'s about 100 times preferable to having MS - I\'m so bloody relieved for you! Some things can be done for the spine (leave the surgery as a last resort) I see an osteopath (which most Drs. here don\'t like, but that\'s where I get the relief) -they manipulate the spine: very gently, there\'s no crunching & jarring - sadly it is not on the National Health Ins. here, but I get 30 dollars back for 10 sessions per year. fyou seems to be going in circles with all those specialists - hope it will now get sorted. Fond regards JaneD.
