hi everyone, had my neuro appt today. he asked me a lot of questions and my right ear is still ringing from the tuning fork...hehe. when he was done with me, he scheduled a mri of my spine and head for saturday and a return vist for next wednesday, and gave me the name of an ophlamologist to see then sent me to the lab for blood tests. He said to try heat on my foot and hand that were numb, that he didnt want to give me any new medicine till he sees me next wednesday, after I have my MRI. I went to the lab to get my blood drawn and the guy that was drawing my blood asked "how long have you had MS?" and I said I hadnt been dx with MS, and he said that that was the dx on the laboratory paperwork from my neuro. So here we go...into dx land, where poking and proding are the norm. Oh btw, to add insult to injury, last night I had to come home from work cause we had a mishap in the ambulance on the way to the hospital ( I am a Paramedic if I didnt say that before) I got thrown around when some dumb lady in an suv, who was trying to get out of our way and couldnt decided to just slam on her brakes. not hurt bad, just sore...seems to be par for course lol

SORRY THAT IT IS LOOKING LIKE MS. ROUGH LONG ROAD AHEAD. BUT YOU WILL MAKE IT GIRL. HANG IN THERE. LOTS OF LOVE, TAMMY
Hi there, What an eventful day! First of all 1 bod. more or less tells you you have MS - then, back at work-some idiot in a far to large vehicle tries to wipe you out!. Wait until the diag. is confirmed. I\'am disturbed that he told you that-I mean, a nurse or technician should have the sense not to comment really. Am still floating on my sea of codiene, with my lower gums sticched up-have to lower the dose tomorrow- not as bad as yest. Best wishes JaneD.
