Hi Doug, like butterflyinthewind I am no longer getting e-mail notices of my friends journals or daily updates. DS support said they would work on it, just wonder if it has anything to do with site updates. No spam or junk folders here.

hi just wanted to say.i don\'t like the advertisements that come up on the side of the page.i am finding this very distrating.however i wan\'t to thank everyone at ds for their good work.since i have been using this site it has changed my life completly,for the better.i have made great friends along the way.thanks again.loadsa love x x

Doug, this site has been wonderful! Any correlation between the huge numbers using the site and the sudden appearance of ads now? I never had any before, except words to the left. Now, pictures to the right. Sometimes ironic, pictures of half-nude guys when I am in a serious discussion with a friend who\'s a lesbian--odd, to say the least!! Helen

I\'ve just signed up to this group and hope to receive the support I need from others that suffer as I do.. I was treated for \"ear virus\" for 10 years until my doctor finally flipped out and realized he should have referred me on to specialists years sooner. After many tests including MRI and auditory I was officially diagnosed with Menier\'s. My attacks have become more frequent ie: one in Feb/March and again in July. This would not be so bad if the effects didn\'t last for at least two months. This last episode included the feeling of disasotiation with faces..My cat\'s head did not match her body.. That sounds funny to most people but it was very frightening for me. At the moment I am symptom free and am taking water pills as the water retention is behind my damaged right ear and an operation is not an option. Looking forward to hearing what others have suffered from this disease...Sorry this was so long but not sure how this group quite works yet LOL

Hi Doug,
I would just like to a say a personal thank you. This is such a great site. I feel I get a lot more support here than I did on another epilepsy website. But having said that I would never have gone through the Brain surgery if I didn\'t get the right information I needed. There are a lot of documents on the site that referred to the surgery I went for at the time and for that I am thankfully. Unfortunately in Ireland there wasn\'t enough Information on the Irish Epilepsy website and maybe its something you guys could look into. keep up the good Work Doug
