DAILYSTRENGTH TAKES ACTION: APRIL = AUTISM AWARENESS
April marks the beginning of our "giving back" program, where DailyStrength will be donating money to causes that you, our members, ask us to support.
April is Autism Awareness Month. This month, we're donating $1 to Autism Speaks [ www.autismspeaks.org ] for every new person you invite who joins DailyStrength.
Take 5 minutes to invite friends and loved ones to DailyStrength - just click INVITE at the top of this page - and you can help not only friends, but charities as well.
ADVERTISING
At DailyStrength, we pledge to always be honest and upfront with you about how we run our site.
DailyStrength is now the largest support network of it's kind, with hundreds of thousands of visitors, full-time employees, lots of computers and much more.
How do we pay for all this 'stuff'? We don't believe in making our members pay - our resources should be available to all. Instead, we have begun to run modest, appropriate advertising to help us fund more growth and features for you. Advertising will always be clearly marked as such, and we will continually work to find relevant and helpful advertising partners.
If you have any questions, just let us know.
THOUGHTS ON SPRING
Thought I'd leave you all with a quote by Anne Bradstreet, a 17th century poet, which sums up the season for us:
"If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant; if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome."
Keep sending us your ideas for how we can make DS even better...more cool stuff coming soon!
Doug

I am very happy that I found this place. I am not sure how to post to others nor about the gray balloons that come up over peoples pics with the word false in it..kinda like this damn bipolar disease...baffling at times but I will keep coming back and hope someone writes to me besides Doug (thank you for that, Doug) and I will catch on. I am definately not anywhere close to knowing how to operate on the computer or with this bipolar business but am trying! Thanks for being there. Concraft
