I went to see the the doc today, he was really nice, we had a good chat, which is quite novel because the doctors here generally limited to giving you a 5-10 minute slot.  He put me onc Cipralex escitalopram.  I have never heard of it, he says it is good for tackling depression and anxiety, we'll see I guess.  It is an SSRI, like many anti-depressants.  I normally take prozac, which has really helped in the past, but the last time I took it I had the most awful suicidal dreams and had the jitters really bad!  So, gonna give it a try.Feeling pretty good today, apart from major tiredness, I could not sleep a wink last night, I tossed and turned until the morning birds were singing.  Still eating well, had the odd treat, but no need for bingeing today.  My hubby was off work today, he has hurt his back, so I have played nurse for him, giving him lot's of TLC!  Hope it isn't a long term problem because we can't afford for him to go off sick from work right now.  Just hope I hear from the job applications I have sent out SOON, we need some money.  We have a holiday to Disneyland Paris planned that we booked ages ago (before some major money probs hit home) now it is upon us, we are off in less than three weeks and we have no money to take!  I have got this little jar that I put money in but it is looking rather sparce!  Anyway, as long as we get there, it should still be great.  Been wanting to treat the kids for a while.
