Well I have had a rather positve day today, I done a salsasize DVD today with my 4-year-old daughter.  We had such a laugh, I used to go salsa dancing and forgotten how much I liked it.  My moves are a bit dodgy at the moment, but I would like to get back into it.  I have eaten really healthy foods all day, but then in the evening I went to the cupboard to get a slice of weight watchers carrott cake (70 cals per slice) and I still ended up eating 3 of them, before I stopped myself.  It seems like I go on auto pilot.  I thought about what the trigger to this might have been and I think it is linked to feeling tired, didn't get much sleep last night.  I have got my hands on Paul McKenna's book and CD 'I can make you thin' to try out.  It claims to use some form of hypnosis  to  re programme your eating habits and self image.  Thanks to Distant Orbit, who triggered the idea.  I will let everyone know if it is any good.  Thanks to all of you who have been sending me messages, you're all so great.

Well at least three sliced of carrot cake is probably better for you than half a pack of pork scratchings! I did a similar thing. Got a pack of these really nice and fairly healthy Jordan\'s museli bars. 3 in a pack. I thought I\'d have one with morning coffee. Looked down and all three were gone. There are worse things to binge on, but I still felt a bit bad afterwards.

What I think you\'re doing (and what I\'m trying to do) is really good though. After something like that stopping and thinking about it. This morning I was kind of a don\'t cry over spilt milk thing. Instead of getting too bummed out (which might have led to more eating) I got over it and started trying to figure out why I did it... or what I could do to stop it next time.

At work (I guess it\'s rambling time again) there is an older lady who works near me and mothers me a bit. Someone gave me a bag of chocolates (yeah, thanks for that... sheesh), so I gave them to her and told her I was allowed one a day at most. That\'s been working well.

Anyway.... we got the Paul McKenna smoking book. I never really got into it though. I think it\'s quite sound in principle though and the diet works in a similar way. Well, it\'s not a diet. It\'s just techniques for managing the way you eat. Someone at work uses it and says it\'s quite helpful. Hope it helps for you!

I have used hypnosis CDs in the past and they do work fairly well, in my experience. Maybe I will look into Paul McKenna.

O...my...goodness! First of all, you know I am happy that you had a super day...but the 4 y/o thing made me laugh! As you know, I have a delightful 4 y/o daughter, as well...she has been excercing with me, too. Anywho..I have just gotten the pilates, dvd\'s. I really don\'t think that these things are designed for fat folk...LOL! She kept saying \"No, no, no Mommy..you are suppose to do it like the lady\"...and I am like I AM TRYING to do it like the lady\". I swear I would just die, if anyone ever saw me! LOL!

I can\'t wait to get thin enough, to \"do it like the lady\"! :)

Aren\'t kids great. :)

YOU have a most glorious and productive day!

BIG HUGS..
Paulette :)
