For my diet-friends!  A little poem that I wrote, it's a bit funny and sad cos it's true!  THE CAKE I know it’s there in the cupboard, waitingFull of sweetness and delightOozing warmth and comfortJust this once, I think I mightTake a very little sneaky bite. I can taste it before I pick it upThe cream smeared over my lipsThen I can’t taste it anymoreYet it’s entirely goneStraight to my waist and hips It’s smothered on my conscience Adding to the sheer weightOf the sugar filled silhouetteThat I have come to hate Tomorrow I will eat my greensThis relationship is needs to end, Bitter-sweet they might be, butCakes are not my friend.

HA! Love this one....goes with the \"A moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips\"...lol!

I am feeling that food is my enemy, these days, as well. That probably isn\'t healthy, or \'right\', either. One of these days, I hope for a nice balance. :)

I am glad to hear that you got away for a while! Right on! I wish I could do the same, but with the cost of GAS, and a sitter.......ha! I still have to seek saftey in my bathroom...and it\'s NOT easy to tune out the banging on the door...\"MMMoM!\" LOL.

Wishing you a peaceful, self-loving, day! :)

Much love,
Paulette
