When people walk away from you, let them go. Your destiny is not tied to the person that left. Stop begging people to stay, let them go!
This is a preaching someone posted from TD Jakes.
I stayed in a marriage for at least 5 years to long because I didn't just let him leave. I really thought my future was tied to him even though he didn't see it the same way. Not only did it hurt me, it wasn't what he wanted so it continued to hurt me as well. I owned my part in the downfall of the marriage. He sort of has. But I do know that once I let him walk away, I was able to walk towards a better, albeit, different life.

You have class and courage. I was able to make a break with a baby and 6 year old years ago. I moved to another state, began a fabulous job, joined a ski club, made lots of new friends and went to Temple U., at night. I look back and feel so blessed. Thank heaven for opportunities during a difficult patch!

TD Jakes is no dummy. Yes, it take courage and tenacity to break out of a bad situation (even if you have lived in denial for yers) and it\'s the only way to get to that brighter, more peaceful life that you truly deserve. Thanks for posting this. It can\'t be stressed enough or too often around here. xoxo
