Update
My January 15th's CT and MRI results were much, much better than expected. CT showed that the nodes are greatly diminished (were small to begin with) with the Raiologist using the expression "negligible". He could not see the mass on my kidney with the MRI!! I had become toxic from the chemo about 5 weeks before the scans so I was thinking the worst for results as he took me off the Chemo. Being off the chemo finally jump started new bone growth on my broken foot but still in a huge boot for another 30 days. Was to go back on Chemo yesterday but had to hold off again.(My regimen in 25mgs one day and 50mgs the next. 2 weeks on and 1 week off. I had been trying to get myself well from a cold for a couple of weeks and it just was not working. I am on o2 for 24/7 and even with it I was struggling for air. I went to my Primary and he told me I have pneumonia!! He thinks the lower lobe on my right lung has collapsed so had to have chest xrays today. Will find out in a few hours. Of course, I don't know what they do for collasped lungs. The Dr. gave me a shot of antibiotics and an RX for more which messes up my warfarin levels. Also got a steroid shot and an RX for another few days of steroids. The doses were reduced because of my kidney function which I am sure you are all familiar with. I've learned my lesson about diagnosing myself!! We are in the middle of an Artic freeze here in the state of GA. 3rd round of such weather here. So now my plans are to stay in, turn up the thermostat and stay warm - unless I have to go to the hospital. I hope that all of you are progressing well in this journey of ours.

As for the pneumonia and collapsed lung...that\'s not good. Ray has experienced both. They only treated the pneumonia and the lung took care of itself in time. Still...it make breathing more difficult. PLEASE stay in, stay warm, take your meds and get better quickly! Will step up my prayers for you!
