Happy Birthday Ric, today would have been your 50th; we sent you some balloons with messages on, to tell you how much we love and miss you. I dreamt of you ageing last night, that your death had been a terrible mistake, and that you were still alive. I never got to buy you the motorbike you always wanted, so I damn well hope you got one today. This time last year, our lives were just normal, we weren't to know that 12 months later our worlds would be upside down. We are trying hard Ric; your family annoy me though, they just seem to ignore or block out occasions like today and don't get in touch. I'm sorry that we lost each other and Thom lost his daddy and you lost your son. We have loads of memories to treasure and we will keep them locked safe in our hearts where no one can ever take them away from us. Love always Ric, Nic and Thom xxxxx
