My son woke in the night crying because he was sad that daddy wasn't here. I feel so helpless as all I can do is try to comfort him, when all he wants is the special person in our lives he can't have.
Thank you Carol, that really means a lot to me. Im trying my best, its hard sometimes when I need to cry, as I try not to do it in front of him ( only because in the early days Thom would put his hands over his ears if I cried, as he said it made him sad); he now accepts when I do cry, and we comfort each other and share our memories together.
