I made an appointment with my therapist for April 8th. Since I watch my little guy wednesday's are my only free day. I feel better knowing I have that to look forward to.
I visited my Mom yesterday. I didn't want to worry her but since my visits haven't been as often as usual I confided. She is my best friend and she can always tell if I'm not "right". I broke down and told her It hurts to see that "family" shot on her wall. It isn't my family anymore. I can't stand seeing his face looking back. She said she would replace it with a pic of me and my sons. No future DINLs. That hurt a smidge but I guess I'll still have to look at the same pic. No matter how much it hurts. Getting the 3 of us together at the same time is near impossible. But worth a try for my peace of mind.
So today is little better. Little guy helps a lot. Even when he's napping as he is now.

I am proud of you for telling your mother that the old family photo bothers you. We have to speak our needs if we expect others to meet them.

You could have one photo shopped - just look for some good pics of you and your kids and see what CVS can do for you to pull them together.
