THANK YOU

Thank you all for the kind words and support on this day.  24 years ago I had just checked into the hospital to welcome my beautiful gift.   I wish I could go back and relive it and just maybe, I could change something.
Mothers are always the fixers and I can't fix this.  The memories all even the good still hurt. Pictures tear out my heart.
Rip my sweet, sweet child.   RIP  wish it meant return if possible

When we moms cannot fix the loss of our child, we have no control over anything to make it better, it isn\'t enough, we get angry, frustrated, and helpless..It hurts so much, memories hurt, looking at pictures hurt tears my heart out also...As time goes on we learn and start feeling glimpes of happiness thinking of how lucky we were to have them for the time we did. This time of year is the worst feelings, your not alone sweetie, Love, Kelly

I also wish I could go back and fix things, and when I am in that frame of mind, I feel so out of control. We are supposed to protect our children.. This part of the grief I don\'t think I will ever get over. Its always in the back of my mind and then all of a sudden, there it is again, thinking of what I could have done to prevent Jackie from taking her life. It\'s especially hard during the holidays. Thank GOD we have each other on this site. Love Gail

I can\'t count how many times a day I wish I could turn the clock back. The thrill of being a mother to a new born is beyond anything anyone who has not experienced it could imagine, and the sadness of losing a child is beyond anything anyone who has not experienced it could imagine.

I think about how much I felt like I had control of things...life. Losing Alex taught me that I have no control over anything. Take gentle care of yourself...Karen

We loved and we tried...we gave our children all that we could. I would go back, too, just to hold and smell that warm, sweet, little baby in my arms...if only....motherhood is truly the best time of our lives. Of course, all of us would go back and change something in our lives...in our children\'s lives...but whose to say it would have made a difference? We think and we think and we over think and still we don\'t KNOW what was the problem...where did it begin....whose to blame....and on and on we go....torture. I think we have to conclude that we are never as in control as we think we are and most certainly when it comes to life and death. God allows all of us to come home at our appointed time. You and I were lucky to have our children for as long as God allowed. What a blessing! Much love to you dear friend...dale, brandon\'s mom

I understand wondering what we could have done to have changed this path that none of us ever wanted to find ourselves on. Deepest of sighs...

As the others have said we have no control over such things as our children\'s life path. Free will and life circumstances happen and now somehow we learn how to awaken each day and simply do our best. That is what you are doing my friend and it\'s enough... more than enough...

Loving care to that beautiful forever mother\'s heart of yours and sending an extra tight hug too. Thank goodness we are in this together and not having to walk totally alone.
