2020

So I'm in the last hours of 2020 a year in which I spent 9 months in prison, saw the woman I love for one hour while she told me she was divorcing me, haven't seen my children or had any contact, my dad has died, I'm carer for mum who isn't always easy to care for, most of my friends have deserted me, as have family, I've lost home, job and community, ok I have a home with mum but her neighbours hate me, gather every night to try and intimidate me and two nights ago slashed the tyres. This is where I live and sleep but it cannot be home. I am slowly going towards counselling but the waiting list is long, and I have stopped antidepressants so I can cry, which is an important releass, but many shows this Christmas have made connection with memories, places we've holidayed etc so I fear all I am is a memory with little future

Writing it out will help you make your way to a different type of recovery for a better balance.

It's rough knowing that you're going through all these changes and it seems like memories are it.

One step forward at a time. Keep your focus on what you can do, and are doing to maintain calm.
