So I've been talking with a friend (more like a pen-pal) and he recently came out to his parents and he's been encouraging me to do the same. But I really don't know how to . . .explain it to them. They're strictly against homosexuality and are very religious. And I know that if I did tell them (although they'd still love me as their son) that I'd be practically disowned. My brother (whom I live with right now) is very opposed to the LGBTQ community as well and I have to deal with his slanders and "hate" speeches about how wrong it is and blah blah blah. I consider myself asexual but I would enjoy a boyfriend--not for sex or anything--but just to have someone you love and they love you back. That's all. But how can you make that clear to strict, fire-breathing parents?! How can you make someone understand something so ....unclear. My parents would drill me and interrogate me about it all and I don't have all the answers. I'm postponing the coming out till I'm more prepared and cna think of what to say. Can anyone help me?
