2 miles!

I did a 2 mile walk today in 48 minutes according to my FitBit. I just got it today and I'm so excited! I did 5,000+ steps which was my goal. I'm going to bed early tonight if I can.. I'm exhausted. I didn't sleep well last night, went to sleep late and woke up early. I had therapy today and it went well. We were talking about my stepmom and how to deal with her and her religious drama-llama. We also went over my meds, the taper of Depakote and all my side effects. She was glad I went back to my old psychiatrist, and that she (my psych) gave me a written paper on how to taper my Celexa after I finish the Depakote taper. I'm going to be switching to Prozac, and she said that the Prozac should help with the withdrawals from the Celexa. I'm exhausted. I'm going to go lie down and see if I can sleep.

where did you get your fitbit and is it expensive. i was going to buy a pedometer, is it the same thing? 5000 steps per day is the minimum for adults, have a feeling i don\'t hit 5000 ever. lol.

a LOT of people are on prozac. especially on ds, but EVERYWHERE. princess diana was on it and used to rave publically about it. my friend\'s boyfriend calls it the happy pill.

only a small percentage of people go through the opposite side effects. unfortunately, a guy at work is like that, but he says, its only if he tries a smaller dose, it makes him dangerous. if he takes the real dose he is normal and if he takes no dose, he imagines things visually and hearing. i don\'t even want to know what that is about. he said his wife has it too, but less than he does. omg!

hope it work out for you! xxoo

YEAHHHHH im so happy you got your fitbit today!!! Im getting so close to being able to get one I cant wait ... saving alittle here and there! Are you tracking online with it ? When i read about it they said it can track sleep and everything food and all.
Thats interesting about the tapering from celexa to Prozac...... they tapered my husband from Celexa to Paxil... i guess Paxil works ok but im wondering if Prozac would work even better. He went from being untreated bipolar for so many years to trying these two just since January and it has made a difference.... he is almost tolerable to live with now but he is alot sicker due to all his other medical issues so just not sure if its the Paxil or not. Curious what you think about Paxil if you have ever tried it before?

fantastic on the fitbit and walking 5000 steps!!! sounds like a good therapy session. I am sure you are exhausted, you had a big day. I really want to get a fitbit, g2g said things it does that I never knew. as for the Prozac, I didn\'t do well on it, it made me feel worse, but that is why they have so many to choose from, everyone is different. g2g, I tried paxil, didn\'t do to much to help, this is as an extra antidepressant. my main antigressant is effexfor and Cymbalta which that combo has worked reaaly good for me. it can be frustrating finding the right one but it happens. hugs larissa

A FitBit is a glorified pedometer. It tracks steps, stairs, distance, speed, and even sleep. I guess I was tired last night since I slept for 13 hours almost straight.
