2 DOWN...3 TO GO...

This is a looong week and it is only Tuesday!  I am tired.  A fairly decent day at school except for the fueding teachers.  Chris came by after school to see what sound equipment the school needs to update.  Of course, this involves the music teacher who is the one involved with my classroom teacher.  OUCH!  I am kind of in the middle.  However, it is in my best interest to be helpful since I am staying at the school, while our teacher only has a few wks. left. And, since I have a connection, it is just the right thing to do.  I don't want to sound like a suck-up because I am not.  Our school is so needy I help them out, however I can, anyway.  After school I attended the school nurses baby shower.  She is having twins in July.  When I got home I made BLT's, watched American Idol, and baked Amish Friendship Bread.  Today was the day I HAD to.  It is good stuff but kind of troublesome.  Thanks to all who comment.  I appreciate it.  Peaceful wishes.

I don\'t think keeping the peace is sucking up. Life is hard enough without creating a friction that could last for you! I think it is very wise...and afterall Chris DOES know about that stuff. Amish bread is that the stuff you have to \"feed\" and keep going? Have a good day! Karen

I make sourdough bread. I\'ve managed to keep my starter alive through all the construction (and no kitchen) but it needs some TLC to make a good comeback. It took twice as long as it should have for the first batch in the \"new\" kitchen to rise. I used to have an Amish friendship bread starter, but haven\'t had one for years. My sourdough starter is about 12 years old. The one I had before (my husband murdered it - a long story) was almost 9 years old. But I diverge...I think you are an incredibly wise woman to be a peace maker. That is usually the hardest job to do. Some people are just too self absorbed to understand the value of peaceful relationships. Take care of yourself in the mix. That\'s really important! Love and hugs, Cyn

Helping is always rewarded within. You are not a suck up to do what you can to keep things running smoothly. There should be more people like you. It sounds like you had an ordinary day and that in itself is off the charts compared to some days. Take care. Love Robin.

Give peace a chance is not a wimpy sentiment. I am always amazed at how hard it can be to be a peacemaker. Keep at it though. Have a great day!
