Today was worse. It started off good, I am forced by circumstances to do the dog walk at the local reserve and I associate dad there more than anywhere so it's emotional but I'm glad I'm being made to do it. Before I left I had brought mum the latest bank statement in its envelope. When I came back she wanted her hair washed so I started getting things ready. She stood up and started to walk towards me and started to yell that I shouldn't have put it away in its envelope. I said that is how you have it to me and you said specifically to have it in its envelope. I didn't she said, then backtracked and said I didn't always understand her - I didn't agree verbally - and that she meant out it away in the folder - I just said an envelope wasn't a folder and did it matter anyway, she said of course it did, I said I didn't care, she said I should, I said I don't give a shit about anything at present - not true but heat of moment. She then threw a walking stick at me. I left the room. Came back a few minutes later and she's trying to go and wash her hair. I just said do you have any thing to say to me, and she wanted to talk about envelopes and folders. I was quiet but clear, not about that, do you have anything to say about throwing a stick at me. It was a half apology, I'm sorry but. Anyhow we have made it up over washing her hair, I think, and just now she asked me to do something very politely, with a please and thank you.
