1st Day of counseling

We had our first days of marriage counseling today. Dr. Mellinger is very nice and seems to really know his stuff. Today was a lot of stuff that Sarah and I have been discussing between our selves for sometime now. It's clear to me now that I have some deep rooted issues with my fathers death as well as other things not to mention my marriage. He did tell Sarah that she needs to end the affair if there is any chance for us to move forward together. She seems very non committal. I'm hoping we can rediscover each other and find that love that we once shared. I love her so much and I can't handle the prospect of her not being in my life. Our next session is next Monday. I hope that by then she has decided to give us full attention in order to see if we can somehow sort this out.
