Anxiety
Settling back into work almost feels surreal. A life without my son feels like an alternate reality that I have been thrust into. As his birthday draws nearer I am feeling so much anxiety that's very difficult to manage. My heart is with you all through your own journey of loss and I appreciate all of your comments and love
In gratitude and love for you all

new reality.... never thought of it like that... but yes thrust is a good word... love and hugs to you....
Yes, the holidays, birthdays and angelversaries are the absolute worst, a time of a remembrance of what we once had. Sending you love, prayers and tight hugs. ~Leda
It does feel like an alternate reality and it\'s one that I believe takes a lifetime to learn how to live with. The only way I have found to navigate it for the past seven years is one moment and breath at a time. If I look too far down the path it sinks my boat in a nano second.
Be ever so gentle with your healing heart and know that however you feel is what it needs to be for today and that there is no right or wrong way to grieve. Just as long as we feel in order to heal is what is vital and hope for those pockets full of peace to find us too as it can feel so exhausting. Almost as if I am training to become long distance runner is sometimes how it feels for me.
Loving care and the utmost of understanding dear Chris. YOU are not alone...
