FEELINGS

JUST SHARING SOME FEELINGS, BEEN FEELING HEALTH WISE A LITTLE BETTER,AND I THANK GOD FOR THAT. BUT I WAS WATCHING IDOL THE OTHER DAY ,I LOVE MUSIC, AND A SONG CAME ON MY DENISE LOVED AND I FELL APART LIKE SOME ONE REACHED IN AND TORE MY HEART OUT, IT TOOK ME DAYS TO GET MY SELF BACK, I WAS SO DOWN LIKE THE WORLD WENT OUT FROM UNDER ME , AND I WAS LOST IN THIS DARKNESS OF REALITY , THAT LIFE IS VERY SHORT AND EACH AND EVERY DAY SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN FOR GRANTED, HOW EASY WE CAN FALL APART AND OUR LOVES CAN CHANGE IN A SECOND. HOW TO DEAL WITH I STILL DO NOT KNOW I GO ONE DAY AT A TIME AND MAKE OTHER PEOPLE COME BEFORE ME , BECAUSE HELPING OTHERS HELPS ME. SO ONE DAY AT A TIME.

What you say is so true, life is so short, yet I feel like time can not move quick enough to suit me. I want to rest. Don\'t get me wrong I\'m not suicidal, just a longing to be able to say my job is done. Does that make sense?

I\'m glad you are feeling better physically.

We know there will always be those triggers that break our hearts with memories of our beloved child that is no longer with us in the flesh. The memories hurt like knives in our hearts.

Love to you Shirley and to sweet Denise. Terry

After nearly 5 years of grieving over the loss of Alex...I still never know what will trigger that gut-wrenching pain again. I just know that over the years I have found that I recover from that deep pain more quickly. I hope, that in time, it will lessen more quickly for you. You are so wise to recognize that life is so temporary and that we have to grab the gusto...take gentle, day to day care of YOU...love and hugs...Karen

Tear triggers and dogs howling, around here they go hand and hand. I will soon enter year 3 and I find odd things set me off. I imagine this will always happen but I believe Karen just above me because I follow in the wise ones before me.

Music is a powerful and evocative trigger. Once, about a year and a half after we lost Corrie, I was standing in a line at an airport to get a latte when \"Somewhere Over the Rainbow\" came on the musak and I totally lost it, sobbing my way to the front of the line.

As Karen/Biowoman said, the triggers will always be there but recovery will be quicker as time goes on.

Sending lots of love and big hugs of comfort and recovery ~ Debbie

p.s. Good to hear you\'re feeling physically stronger and better!

Just small things set off triggers. One day I saw a yard sale sign it sent me back to when my son and his girlfriend and I had a yard sale the last one we did together. How many times before had I seen that sign it did not trigger tears this one did. These episodes creep up on you, and you never know how you will react. Each time is different.
I hope soon music will sooth you ....
Hugs Penny
