This is going to be hard. I don't know where to begin. I haven't had any one to talk to about what I go thru. No one in my family has a clue. I think they all think I am all fixed now. I look normal, therefore I am fine. I am always so sad. I cry most of the time over everything and nothing. I have trouble finding words to describe my thoughts and feelings.

just read through your journal and what you have gone through. i can relate to some of those feelings. the first couple of years after stent surgery, i went through bouts of depression. seemed like no one cared or understood or wanted to understand. yet everytime i had a hiccup or coughed too hard, everyone would walk on eggshells around me. sucked.

but it does get better. stents, or heart issues are much like any life crisis. it involves a huge change mentally and emotionally. it entails some grieving. for some it is more difficult than others. but one thing for sure.....no one else except for someone who has walked the same path can fully understand or appreciate the daily struggle to regain one\'s sanity and health.....
