Hi Fred: I thought it was time to check in with you again. It's been a while since I last wrote in you.
The weather has turned cold, snowy and breezy. It looks like winter has found Idaho and plans to stay a while. This is certainly not my favorite time of year. Oh well, I know we need the snow or we will have another nasty drought. It just makes it hard to get around with all the ice and snow.
This coming Wednesday I'm having the cataract in the right eye removed. The following Wednesday I'll get the left eye done. I am very excited about this. I'm grateful they have made this type of procedure as simple as it is now. My sister has been wonderful in helping me to the eye doctor appointments I have had.
Today the new kitchen table was delivered. It certainly changes the look of the kitchen. I am surprised how much it changed it. I'm happy it has changed. A year before we knew that Nick had cancer I had a very very realistic dream. It was so real it didn't seem like a dream at all. I remember it very clearly. I was sitting in our kitchen at the table I just replaced. I can remember I was crying and so full of overwhelming sadness. In the dream Nick had died. The dream did not show me how he had died... just that he was dead. I can remember looking at the table and all around the kitchen thinking, "Nick will never come through that door again and make me laugh." I am glad to be changing the kitchen.
That's the "big" news for now. Sorry, Fred, I'm not living an exciting life so this is the best I can do as an entry.
Bye for now.
