Gratitude

Dear Fred:  Yesterday was hard.  Just plain hard.  The nights are getting really bad.  I can hardly wait each night to take a couple of pain pills and go to sleep.  There is a lot a should be doing... going through mail, cleaning house,,,, but I have no motivation.
The good thing is that I can hope for a better tomorrow.  I am hoping that once the iron deficiency is controlled and the cataract surgery is done I will have more energy & more enthusiasm for living.  I KNOW I have many things to be grateful for.  Here are those that come readily to mind:
financial security,     medical problems that CAN be fixed instead of no cure,    my four footed furry felines who share my home,     a home I can live in,   a few close friends and the knowledge that within a day or two I will probably be feeling better again
Good night Fred.
