Friday Night: TGIF! It has been a hard week for me. I am glad it is OVER! We picked Craig's mower up tonight so that is out of the way. I have to get grocery's this weekend but aside from that, I am staying home! Although we may go out for a CHEAP dinner tomorrow night. Golden Corral. I love that place...pretty good food and you can waddle out the door! lol And, I will go to the cemetery but that is only a couple of miles away. I am feeling a little better than I was last time I wrote. I still feel pretty funky but not as much. We have been doing MAP testing at school this week. Although "my" autistic kids don't take it I have been helping out with another student not in our class. I enjoyed it but the changes in schedules have made it stressful for everyone. Adam & I have been unable to fish yet. The weather has been too yucky and the rivers & lakes have been flooded. I want peace and comfort. I am not into freezing, getting wet, or fighting flood waters. I have been planning our vacation. I could stay home but Craig is adament that we go. So, we are. I have to admit the planning has been kind of fun and a good distraction. We are going to Mesa Verde, CO, 4 Corners, Bryce Canyon, UT, southern end of the Royal Gorge, Painted Desert, Petrified Forest, etc. And hopefully, the Antique Roadshow, in Wichita, on the way. (I had tickets last year but didn't go becuase Scott died only about 1 mo. before) We have never been to any of these places. I am now figuring out how long to stay in each place and how much the whole thing will cost. The plans could change, for sure! If anyone has been to these places, please let me know anything you know! I am relying on input from everyone I know. We will stay at KOA"s in their camping. I love that. It is sort of like tent camping without the tent. The trip will make me sad, too. This is a trip we planned to take several years ago and couldn't because Scott seriously broke his ankle...2 screws...so he couldn't do all that walking. Then, I purchased my store and blah, blah, blah. On the other hand, it may just do me good to get away. We'll see. Peace to all.
