It is WET here!  A lot of flooding going on.  I am on high ground so that is a good thing.  They have opened shelters for those who aren't.  One of our local boys was killed today in a vehicle accident.  He was driving a dump truck, hydro-planed, & ran head on into a semi. At least that is what I have heard so far. He was 21 and Scott & Adam used to play ball & go to church with him.  His Dad and Craig were friends when they were kids.  My heart is breaking for the parents.  I guess I will go the visitation.  I have avoided funerals and funeral homes since Scott died.  I don't think I can handle the funeral but for the visitation I can sign the book even if I can't make it all the way in.  At least his family will know we were there.  We are not really friends but since we have known them for years it seems like we should go.  I have no clue if they came when Scott died and it doesn't matter.  I just want to offer whatever I can.  It sure seems like a lot of young people are dying.  Maybe they always were and I just wasn't paying as much attention as I do now.  In any case, it STINKS!  I went to therapy today and we just talked.  Chris wanted to go to Compassionate Friends so I went with him.  It was ok since I didn't do the EMDR.  I got to visit with Chris for a couple of hrs. before the mtg. so that was nice.  Hoping for a dryer day tomorrow!
