After a little over 8 mos. a funny side of Scott was brought to memory.(There have been others but this was tangible.)  Adam found a ziplock bag with disposable razors in the back of the bathroom cabinet they shared.  In the bag was a note from Scott.  It reads:  "Scott's Razors.  There is a used one amongst these so please don't use.  Thank you.  Sorry for the inconvience."  It was signed:  Hotel Scott, Management.  I know he did that so Adam wouldn't "steal" a razor. They were always, like most brothers, getting into each other's things.  I don't mean private stuff.  Just stuff like razors, cologne, shaving cream, etc.  It was just a little piece of Scott's humor and the way he had about getting his point across without being mean.  He used to leave little notes all over the place for one reason or another.  It was nice to find one.  However, it also made me sad.  I just miss him so much.  Like one of his friends said, "We all miss his Scottness."  He was such a sweet, caring person except when he was using.  Even then, though, he couldn't hide his true self.  I remember saying to him, "I am so mad at you right now but the look on your face is too funny.  So don't think my laughing makes me any less mad!"  What a loss.

I like his style - little notes to others......just in case anybody got to close to his stuff - loved this story about him. I know we have so many more memories tucked away - I keep thinking off & on of different memories of Shaun. I hope our sons are together - Shaun was fun too......always.
God bless you honey - I know you miss him - and I feel your loss in this journal. Take care - hugs,

Ginger,
That is a cute story. My sons are 2.5 years apart and would always \" borrow\" things from each other. Richard would always get so mad at his brother because Mitch was not as \"neat\" as Richard and often the clothes or items would be ruined. I miss the \"fights\" they used to have and I never thought I would say that.Hugs, Inga

We always have these reminders of our boys...things that come up unexpectedly...so right about how it makes us laugh and then cry as well...this must be a part of our new life. I am just glad you were able to laugh first! Love and hugs...Karen

Really cute story. Such a nice way to say, leave these alone. John never had a brother to share with and I\'m sure aside from making them crazy he had nothing he wanted to share with his sisters. These are the memories that will sustain us. Thanks for sharing. Love and hugs Cathy
