Sat. Night (early Sun.) Dinner was good. We ate too much. Just went to Golden Corral. Not fancy, but decent food and too much of it! We ran into 2 different sets of friends while we were there. I was really glad to see one of them! Keith is more a friend of mine than Craig's but of course he and Craig visit. Keith spent many hours visiting with me when I owned my store. He seemed to know when I was having a rough day and would just appear. He knew of a lot of the struggles I had with Scott. I rarely see him now and really miss him. I told him and his wife to please just drop by. I had never met his wife, with 5 years of friendship, until after Scott died. She seems very nice To anyone wondering....in the back of your mind...we truly were/are just friends. He is a retired Marine and helped me see things I needed to see sometimes. We didn't always agree but have a mutual respect for each other. Also, his son & Chris graduated together but I never knew him then. The other people we ran into were people Craig graduated with. They did not know about Scott's death so that was hard. After dinner we just came home and watched a couple of movies. Now, here I am. Craig went to bed, but as always, I am still tense and wide awake. Maybe a rum & coke........

I am so glad that you and Craig went out! I have found that the more people that I run into the more comfortable I get. Sometimes their presence brings up memories with Alex and it is hard...some times it is unrelated to Alex and there is relief...friends are always important to our healing. love and hugs...Karen
I find rum and coke to be the best cure for alot!lol....have a good day..hugs sherry
Ginger,
I love Golded Corall, I think they have decent food for the price. It is always hard telling anyone about the loss of our children and I always try and avoid it. Hugs, Inga
It\'s good that we get out among people. I think it reminds us that there is life and it\'s okay. People are much more accepting than we are. They understand but only to a point. There are limits to the understanding...I think thats why we are here. Here everyone understands everything. Take Care. Love and Hugs.
Glad you enjoyed your dinner and outing. Relax and enjoy that rum and coke and have one for me. Friends come in all shapes and sizes. Love and hugs Cathy
