Friday...Well, I had to work today.  It was still pretty slick this morning but this afternoon it wasn't too bad.  Scott's friend Jeromy did not come over as planned earlier in the week but he did come over this evening.  It was so good to see him.  I gave him one of Scott's knives, a photo, a copy of the obituary, and a copy of the eulogy. We also viewed photos from the funeral.  Some people think it is strange that we took photos but we did it for exactly this purpose...to share them with those unable to attend who want to see them.  Obviously they are not for the family photo album  We visited quite a while and told many funny "Scott stories".  Jeromy had been unable to be at the funeral because he was being deployed to Iraq at that time.  Thankfully is safe and doesn't appear to be any worse for the wear.  He will spend the next year in S.C. doing rifle training.  He is a Marine.  I have known him since he was 6 or 7. He will be 22 tomorrow.  He also brought a Marine buddy with him.  Ryan is his name.  Nice kid.  He is getting ready to go on Embassy duty but doesn't know where.  That can also be very dangerous.  I wish him safety. I have no big plans this weekend.  Housework, I think.  It is getting a little deep in here.  I just haven't felt good enough and haven't cared much either.  However, I can only stand so much.  I have plans to get real serious about cleaning when I am on Spring Break next month. We will see if that really happens.  I plan a lot of things and then just don't follow through.  Melissa, Adam's girlfriend, is headed for St. Louis tomorrow.  She has been really sick.  She has Cystic Fibrosis.  I suspect she will be hospitalized.  Of course there is no cure for her illness.  I am so worried 1st about her and 2nd what it will do to Adam if she dies.  They are a very serious couple and have been together a little over a year.  But, she is a tough little thing.  Hopefully she has many years left in her life.  Wishing everyone a peaceful weekend.

I hope you have a peaceful weekend too. No snow day? We had one here, we got 5 inches of snow overnight. It\'s\' the most we\'ve had all winter. I stayed in. I\'m glad you had company - it\'s nice to sit with old friends and remember our sons - I think it helps - I\'m planning a small gathering here for next week, for some of Shauns friends. I probably need to see them more than they need to see me, right now.
God bless you honey - always in my thoughts and prayers. Love ya,

I know what you mean about the cleaning plans. I start every weekend with plans to clean up some of this mess...usually just take care of the top soil so I can stand it. Hope you have a peaceful weekend.

It\'s nice that you get visits from Scott\'s friends. Lets you know just how much they were apart of his life, and they care for your family. I\'m not good at the planning thing either. So I don\'t do it. I don\'t plan when I get to doing it, it gets done. What does it matter anyway, I\'m the only one that is going to do it, it doesn\'t seem to bother the rest. Take your time, when your ready...I\'m sure it will get done. After all...Is it going anywhere? LOL Love and Hugs.

I think we are all sick. We must share germs through the computer. My brother in law took photos to at A.J.\'s funeral but we haven\'t been able to see them yet. One day. I\'m glad you got to visit with Jeremy. Get better and have a nice weekend. I\'ll be cleaning too. Love Robin

I know you both had so many things to share.I dont think its strange to do that. When Robert came by some time ago we looked at alot of Reggies pictures and even when I read his obituary and the pictures at the Funeral I still cry. Iam happy he made it home safely from there. Spring cleaning I\'m ready for it and Spring.:) WE had a mild winter here but its been Cold.and the other day we had 2in. of snow which was ice later.Thats just a pain. Feel better soon!

It is so hard to be around our son\'s friends. Glad you had a nice visit. Rob\'s friend never contacts me anymore... I think I made the mistake of talking about Rob too much and it became painful visits instead of good. Everytime I saw Austin (Rob\'s friend and one with him when he died) I kept talking about Rob... just too much to bear. None of Rob\'s friends contact me or Rob\'s brothers (a promise they made at the funeral). Just some advice... try not to make the visits so concentrated on your son. Put the energy into the life of his friend. Just something I learned the hard way. Maybe it won\'t be like that for you.

The visits with our kids friends mean so much. They have a vision of another side of them and it great when they share. I know and understand the plan to do things and then not caring through. I say do what you can and forget the rest. Hopefully you have completely recovered now. Love and hugs Cathy
