I had day #2 off work and one more tomorrow.  We will have to work President's Day and tack on the rest at the end of the school year.  I don't care.  We have soooo much ice!  I lost power for a while tonight.  The electric co. bypassed my main line and I have 5 days to replace my weather head which was broken by a tree limb that fell.  Always something.  It has been kind of a hard couple of days.  Scott was such a trooper during our Jan. 2007 ice storm which was much, much worse than this.  So many memories brought to surface.  We were without power 8 days.  One of the pictures I have posted of him is from during that time.  He was so helpful.  And, I remember him roasting hot dogs in our wood stove.  Too funny.  I miss him so much.  I got a phone call from a TV news reporter I know.  She was approved to do an investigative report on methadone use.  I am going to do an interview with her on Sunday.  For the time being my identity will be kept secret.  I am excited, in a sad way, to be doing this.  I just want to prevent another family from experiencing what I am.  Please say your prayers and send positive thoughts my way, Sunday about 4 p.m., my time. (Central)  I need all the help I can get as this will be/is, an emotional journey.  I have spent most of my time off sleeping.  I am still coughing up the yuck.  I think my body is just emotionally and physically pooped.  I go to my 1st EMDR therapy tomorrow for Post Traumatic Stress.  I hope it helps.  For nearly 8 mo. I have been reliving, at least once a day, finding Scott.  It is very draining and yet my mind has a mind of its own, so to speak.  I hope everyone reading this is finding some peace, some way.

I think it is very brave of you to do the interview. I know it will be difficult for you, but maybe you can help someone out there watching when it airs. I\'ll be sending you all the strength I can and hoping it\'s not too hard on you. Glad you are feeling better. Love and hugs, Cyn

I will also be sending you all the support and strength I can. I know it will be hard, but if it will save even one life, it will be worth it. Maybe in some small way it may even bring just a little bit of peace to you. All my love, Dawn

We are all wishing you the courage and strength needed to take you through the interview. The weather is another thing. I live in the south...it doesn\'t snow. It just rains all the time. I don\'t know what which is better or worse. Sending you tons of hugs...

Sending you strength and courage, which you already have. Praying with you that one family can be spared the horror. If you effect only one person, you have done a great job. Praying you are feeling better and that the interview goes well and isn\'t too painful. Good luck with your therapy. Love and hugs Cathy

I am so proud of you for following up on this. I hope it gets the attention it should. There are so many misconceptions out there and most people are not informed enough. Good for you!!!
