Wednesday night/Thurs. morn.:  I went to dinner with my best friend from high school tonight.  She has been a huge supporter of mine.  It was nice and we visited 3 hrs. without even noticing.  I am feeling better each day from this awful flu!  And my friend said I am doing better than the last time she saw me.  That was about 1 mo. after Scott died.  I don't know about better.  I am just different.  Good Grief!!!  Tornado activity, floods, and frozen roadways.  Never know what to expect around here.  We are ok as far as all that goes, though.  Each day continues to be a challenge.  I am never sure what the next moment will be like.  Life is so unsure!  I still am not sending messages to anyone.  Sorry.  You all are in my thoughts.  I am just not well enough yet to spend too much time at the computer.  A TV news reporter I know has finally gotten the approval to do an investigative report on the methadone epidemic.  I will help her as much as I can.  I do have to be careful, though, as these people involved are not good people.  If I can save one other young, or old, person from this awful drug, I will.  It is awesome that she is willing to do this report.  The local sheriff dept. has agreed to be a part of it.  Sometimes the media is a good thing.  They can put the heat on.  I am a bit out of sorts tonight.  Still puny, I guess.  And tired.  Adam has this awful bug now.  I hate it that he is sick but I have to admit I like to be able to do the whole and total Mom thing.  But really, I do hate it that he is sick.  It is just doing my heart good to be needed and able to take care of one of my "baby's." (Sp?)  I am sure you mom's understand.  I will be glad when he is well, though.  I know all too well how he feels and that is AWFUL & I would not wish that on anyone!  I have to work and it is waayyy past bedtime.  Just can't seem to wind down tonight.

Seems like your visit with your friend got your adrenaline going, Its nice to know you went out & enjoyed yourself. I know you want to pursue and help others addicted to meth., but please don\'t do anything to put yourself in jeopardy - like you said - they are not good people. I\'ll mention my friend again, Alessandra Rain - and how she went out - formed a company that now makes people aware of addictions to prescription meds. You can google her name & read about her when you have the time. Knock on wood we haven\'t got the flu here yet - and I\'m sure your son appreciates you TLC.

Take care, always in my thoughts,

Visits with real friends can mean so much. Glad you are feeling some better and I\'m sorry that Adam is feeling ill now. Grief is so hard on you that it just wears you down all over. Lowers your resistance to all the bugs going around. Hope Adam is feeling better soon and that you continue to gain strength.
