I am extra tired today! We spent the night battling many tornados. The hail and sirens kept me up a lot. It was kind of hard on the nerves but I am sort of like Captain Dan in Forrest Gump when he is on the ship in a storm raging at God to just bring it on. I used to be a wimp when it came to storms. Now, I truly am as I stated above. You all might think I am nuts when you read this next part but here I go anyway.....A few days after Scott died we had weather much like this. Hot, cool, tornado, windy then no wind. I could imagine Scott just zooming around clicking this and pulling on that. I always would tell him he was a push-pull-click-click kind of guy. Such a free spirit. Such a mess! As he brother said, too, he could see Scott flip a switch and then say, "Oh, Sh**! Well, it has been just a few days since our 4 local boys were in that accident. And, there was another 20 year old who died of a motorcycle crash just a few days ago. A couple of them, I understand, were much like my Scott...full of spirit. Makes me wonder if they are playing too. It has been warm, then tornados, now it is cold, and tomorrow will be sunny. I don't know...but it is a thought that played through my mind and I hadn't yet journaled my own personal experience. "Funny" things we think these days. My oldest son, Chris, is leaving for Vegas this Friday. I am glad for him but I am worried, as well. He had not been more than a few minutes drive away since Scott passed away. I know none of that matters but I still think of it. I do hope he has a great time. He needs to. Not a terrible day today...too tired, I think. We will see what tomorrow brings.

I hope you get some rest and tomorrow is more calm. It\'s natural to worry about your other children but we have to let them \"live\". I\'m happy the day wasn\'t too bad. Thinking of you. Love Robin
I agree. It would be the most natural emotional response to covet the safety and security for your children. Tony was my only child.
Hope you find peace and rest tomorrow.
I KNOW IT SEEM LIKE THE THINGS THAT I AM TOTALY DIFFERENT LIKE WHEN THEY TALK ABOUT HURRICANES COMING I HAVE NO FEAR EVERY PART OF US HAS CHANGED AND I WOULD BE CONCAERED TOO IF MY SON WAS GOING AWAY WAS YOUR HOME DAMAGED ? I AM PRAYING FOE YOU LOVE JODY
I heard the news broadcast of the weather you\'re having out there.
Glad all went well & that you are safe & snug. We\'ve had milder temps this week in NJ, 73 yesterday which is very odd for January, and now they are calling for snow on Sunday. Take care and get some rest -
I\'m feeling a great need for rest today.
Ginger, you are not crazy, I have told Alik and Brandon that when we have a thunder storme that it is Richard in Heaven. Now when we have a storme they say, \"Mom Richard is raising hell in heaven.\" That is what I had to do so they were not afraid of the storme. Love your friend always, MJ
I hope you get some rest. Not crazy. It\'s a Mom\'s job to worry about her children, we will never stop that. I\'m sure Scott will be with Chris on his trip. Take Care, Love and Hugs.
I will keep Chris in my thoughts and prayers for his trip. My daughter died 6 weeks ago at the age of 39. Her brother is 31, and I worry about him, as well as my granddaughter who is 19. You are not crazy to have the thoughts you do. If you were, then I\'m a lot crazier. Some of the thoughts I have amaze me. Where did that come from? It is strange the way the mind works.
I think that IF it brings us comfort to imagine our children controlling the weather or sending us signs...then it is true...they are doing that! Love, peace and hugs...hang tight with the cray weather out there! Karen
I am gald you are safe. I heard about your weather on the news. I don\'t think you are crazy. I think our children try to send as messages. It is what you believe & feel in your heart. Hoping that Chris has a safe trip. Take Care Love U
I use to love storms, and for the most part I still do. However, I am a bit more aware now since we had them horrible tornadoes a couple of years ago. They did so much damage, that we actually tried to get a state of emergency. It was so bad!! I remember after that storm that anytime the clouds got dark, or it would start to even sprinkle Heather would insist that we go home immediately. She was so scared!! I am glad to hear that you are safe. I like to believe that our children send us many signs, and some we don\'t even notice. BIg hugs to you!!

Rest and relax tough girl. The storm has passed, at least this one. Love and hugs Cathy
