I am very sad today.  Not just for myself.  Yesterday, on the news, I heard 4 area teenage boys were killed in a one car accident.  I wanted to throw up when I heard that.  It just made me sick for the kids but especially for the families.  I have thought of them all day and have been remembering how awful those 1st few days were.  Not that they still aren't awful...  But that shock and paralizing grief.  I would not wish this on anyone.  I don't know any of them but that doesn't matter.  I will probably meet at least one at a Compassinate Friends mtg.  And that makes me sad.  They just keep coming....just like here.  I hate it for all of us.  Thanks again to all of you who leave comments on my journal.  They make me feel better and sometimes even bring a smile.

Ginger, I feel your sorrow for the families that have to join the group that we now belong to. It is bad when members of this group keep getting bigger. This should not happen to anyone. Love your friend always, MJ

I just heard about the 4 high school boys who were killed from Shirley. It makes me so sad we are losing so many of our children to motorcycle and vehicle accidents. My heart is still breaking over losing Tony. OMG,I am so sorry for the families.
We all walk together,

I hate hearing news like that. As you, I would not wish this on my worst enemy. No one should have to go through it, but I guess that\'s not up to us. I will say a prayer for them, even tho I don\'t know them. Love and hugs, Dawn

I know how you feel. We were in a restaurant when we found out that the daughter of a dear friend of our ours had a terrible accident. I thought I had to go throw up too...I almost couldn\'t stay in the restaurant...and Hillary had even prefaced it by saying...she is alright...and it was so awful... I just hate that there are so many new members to this awful club we belong to. I am just so grateful to have the awesome women of DS to help me and share the journey. Love, peace and hugs...Karen

That\'s tragic news - and you\'re right the families of those teens, will be following on our path of grief. Right now any type of bad news makes me cringe - I was the one that always felt bad - to hear sad news over a young persons death - never thought I\'d be there - just like everyone else thinks - not me.........but here we are, holding each other up daily so we make it to the next day - and never alone - this group has given me more support than friends, family or anyone has.
I\'m so grateful to have a place to collect my feelings & share with others. I\'ll say prayers for the families of the teens. You, take care of yourself - and try to have a good week. (Hug)

We can\'t stop it from happening. What we can do is hold out a hand to these people that are joining us, give them the love we have, the understanding we have been taught, and try and help them as did those of us that were helped from those who were further into the grief process than we were. I believe that being here for one another, and loving one another is what will get us all through this. Yes, it\'s sad that the numbers keep growing, but sadly they will. My heart goes out to their families and their friends. My prayers go out every night to those parents that have just learned of a child they lost, and pray that they find their way to us. I know how much it helped me. God bless. Big hugs.

It\'s strange, how now the loss of any body\'s child any where brings us to our knees, now. That\'s one thing for sure we learn, how a person feels under those circumstances. My hearts goes out to all who have lost their child. Praying for them and you. Love and hugs Cathy
