Back to work today...I was just sitting here giving some of my friends "hugs". I can't seem to do multiple hugs so to anyone I missed and/or who is reading this, Big hugs to you too. Anyway, as some are approaching anniversarys, birthdays, and just the holidays I thought how lame my message is. Mostly wishing peace during this difficult time of year. Difficult??!!?! That doesn't even begin to say it and yet I am right there with everyone and don't know what else to say. My heart is sick. I am sick. Everytime I check the new members there seems to be another joining in on this awful journey. This will sound crazy but sometimes I have this vision of all us Moms walking down a very dark twisted path. Sometimes beside eachother, sometimes alone. It is like we are all refugees trying to find someplace to be and only finding darkness. We are all of different shapes, sizes, colors, and beliefs. And yet, we have this awful commonality. It is a very sad vision. Every time I turn around I am running into a memory of Scott. Don't misunderstand...I like the memories, I want to have them. However, just when I get a big gulp of air another thing pops up to knock the wind out of me. It is the smallest of things that can trigger it. I hope everyone else is having a more peaceful time than me.

That is a sad vision, but fitting isn\'t it? None of us wants to belong to this \"club\" we are in. But, even though I hate the thought of others feeling like I do I am so glad to have all our friends here to walk this road with us. Without you and the others, it would be unbearable. Hand in hand we all will make it through these difficult times. Peace to you my friend, Adrianne
I feel like I\'ve been down that path a few times and then some. This club we are in has come at a very high price, one that non of us could afford. I wish it didn\'t exist, but it does. We will take this aweful journey together, and together we will be stronger. This will help us get through. Take Care. Love and Hugs.
I know how you feel. I am struggling to learn to deal with this awful thing that has happened to us and then suddenly this wall of horror descends, which I cannot begin to describe in words. This makes me realise that a small part of me has not even accepted, at least fully, that Nina is dead. She was so full of life and it was instant. How the hell can that be? I don\'t know, only that it is true and very very hard to accept. I am sending lots of love and comfort to you to help us on this journey. Thank God that we have each other on DS. For other people just don\'t understand. I appreciate you so much and I am here for you when you need me. Love from Anne xxx
The holidays trigger so much more than ordinary time-you are so right we love the memories but they also hurt since we can\'t experience them with our babes! Thinking of you, Love, Sandy
yes, i just \'ride the tiger\' through all this. i will be quite content when dec 26 comes around. huge hugs to you now.
You said it perfect. We are all together on this terrible journey. Only we understand. Thank God for all of us. Wish we could have met in another club. Have a better day tomorrow. love lucille
Your message is not lame. Trying to lift our spirits when yours are so down is quite selfless. Yes I so know the feeling like you\'re drowning. You come up, catch a breath and quickly go back under. I think that will subside in time. Take that time, you need it. Yes this is a club I ALWAYS said I never wanted to join. Yet here I am. I don\'t want any other members but in a sad way it is a reminder that we are never alone. You are thought of and hoping your week gets better. Love Robin
I search and I search for my membership card, I know I never signed up for no club. My one and only consistent nightly prayer was that the lord do whatever in his power to prevent this from happening and yet, here I am. Faith, sometimes I don\'t even know what that is, other times, prayers come out of my mouth in a whisper and I don\'t even realize I\'m praying. Holidays are rough, pretty much always with the family drama and all the hustle and bustle, but with all of the memories and the reality that there won\'t be more, it\'s going to be a very rough month. My heart is with all of you.
