All that worrying about Thanksgiving was for naught. I was sooo sick! Stomach stuff. I slept 'till 4:30 p.m. Guess my body showed me the way. Craig went to his sisters anyway, which was fine. I think it was hard on him. Just the luncheon would've probably been ok but then they played games, etc. That would've sent me over the edge. He said when he got home he was glad it was all over. Today we went shopping for headstones. Not fun at all but glad we are finally able to. We cried several times. What an emotional week! Tomorrow I don't intend to do much but the regular Sat. stuff....laundry, housework, etc. That actually sounds good to me. How sad is that? But, it is normal stuff. For me, doing something completely normal, when I don't feel normal at all, sometimes helps. I will be so glad when the holidays are over, the headstone in place, & all the loose ends tied up. Maybe then I will begin grieve peacefully. I am physically, emotionally, & spriritually spent!

I wish I could tell you it\'s that easy, tie the loose ends up and be at peace but the truth is you will never be at peace over the loss of your child. You will learn how to incorporate it into your daily life but I don\'t know of many that are at peace. Just take each day as it comes and know we\'re here with you. Hugs, Mimi
I\'m sorry you were sick. I hope you\'re feeling better to do all that \"normal\" stuff. Sometimes the distractions and keeping busy keep our minds from going crazy. Losing our kids takes a tremendous tole on a body. Take care of yourself. Hoping you have a peaceful weekend. Love Robin
Sorry to hear you were sick, but glad it got you out of doing the TG stuff you didn\'t want to do. I hope you find your weekend peaceful and rejuvenating. Hugs, Adrianne

Oh Ginger, yes your body will definitely let you know these kind of things-we really believe we are handling everything okay, but of course we\'re really not, and then our bodies justs say, that\'s it, time out, I will make you listen and rest-God bless Craig-that must have been hard for him also-you all hang onto one another-these are going to be rough days-so much emotion-so much to feel and so much to cry out-but we are here for you, and you can make it through one little step at a time-and if you have to spend some time in bed-so be it! Love, Sandy
Ginger,
Sorry you were not feeling well and glad you didn\'t have to endure TG and all the stuff that goes with it. I am not sure if grieving peacefully exists? Whenever I think I am getting to the peaceful stage something knocks me back and then I start all over again.
I know laundry, cleaning and all those wonderful things exist but I mostly ignore them. Me and the Dust Bunnies are becoming fast friends.Hugs, Inga
