I went to a site called Last-Memories.com tonight.  I posted a lot of photos of Scott.  If anyone wants to look his address is:  http://Scott-Grant.last-memories.com  It is a work in progess but it did help me pass the time and do something positive.  I then messaged several of his friends from MySpace to let them know about his page.  A couple have already visited and "lit" a candle for him.  Every step is a tiny bit of healing, I think.  I don't even know that healing is the right word.  Maybe accepting.  I miss him so much!  I am going to check out some of the other memory sites my friends were kind enough to let me know about.  Today (Wednesday) is my Thursday.  I am off work this Friday. YEA!  I am so tired!  I am meeting friends from my last work place for lunch.  I think that will be good for me.  Since I said ok in the first place, I have to go now.  I am so good at saying no or backing out these days.  But there are several ladies.  Strength in #'s and all that.  They would never let me off the hook.  A friend from out of town may come to visit this weekend.  On one hand I hope she does.  I need her.  On the other, I have to clean.  YUCK!  Whatever.  I find myself drinking a bit much these days.  Oh, not tons, but more than usual.  I have, for many years, had a drink before bed.  It seems it is the only way I can sleep.  That or valium.  I really need to stop altogether but don't quite know how.  Ah...the list of problems goes on.  I just don't want things to get out of hand.  Guess I am in control of that.  The weather got pretty cold last night and tonight but it should be near 70 this weekend.  I really do not like cold weather!  At my age, it just hurts!  Once I get cold I don't thaw 'till spring.  Well...we all survived another day.  Don't think I could do it without you.

I, too have found a certain serenity in putting together my son\'s memorial page. Part of the reason is because it gave me something constructive to do. Also, it provided a link between me and his friends...a way to keep in touch, to share memories, to keep the bond intact. It warms my heart every time someone visits and lights a candle or leaves a message. And, it gives me a place to visit when I\'m missing him terribly.
I hope your lunch and friends visit this weekend provide a bit of comfort for you. Even though we sometimes don\'t feel like socializing, it does us good at times. Thinking of you and sending you WARM *Hugs* Adrianne

I made a garden and planted some trees for Melissa. Might do the website thing so her friends have something too. It\'s snowing here today, so it is definately cold here. I hope you have a good day. Take Care, Love and Hugs.

I found some comfort in putting together AJohn\'s page, his is at last memories.com too under John Gerry. I\'m going to see Scotts page now. Try to give yourself enough room to grieve. I don\'t think acceptance is the right word. Our kids death are unacceptable and nothing will make it acceptable for me ever. Knowning and believing something to be true is different from acceptance, in my mind at least. Hope you have a good meal out. Love and hugs Cathy
