This is a journal for the Charity Grant.  I would love to have money donated to The Children's Miracle Network.  In fact that was my request in Scott's obituary, too.  They have helped us so much over the years.  We were some of the many Americans that fall through the cracks...no insurance but too much for any assistance.  Anyway, when my youngest son was 6 he had his final of 3 eye surgeries.   Children's Miracle Network took care of it all. (We had ins. for the 1st two.) Then when Scott has his car accident in 2003 and broke his back they stepped in again and helped us with medication, the hospital bill, and "lighting fires" to help Scott get other assistance.  One of the many special things about CMN that many people don't know is what money is donated in your area stays to help the children in your area.  They help with medical bills, "fires", medication, etc.  They work with all ages of children.  They are a huge support.  So, I would very much like to see a donation go to them. Marie Osmand, I believe, is the founder of this organization.  And if this is not the chosen charity, or even if it is, I hope everyone keeps them in mind for donations and/or assistance.
