October 1: Whew...what a day! Not as bad as some but....My mom's neighbor called and said Mom was really sick. I went over right after work. She had not eaten in 2 days and mostly had been drinking just water. Water is fine but it doesn't really help with energy in any way. I finally talked her into drinking some coke. She wound up drinking a lot. Yea. And I even got her to eat a few buttered noodles. Mom is stubborn and no one else could seem to get her to eat/drink anything. She knows I won't let her get by with it. She sees the Dr. tomorrow (Tues) It won't shock me if they put her in the hospital. Mondays are hard at work. Working with autistic kids is so much fun. But Mondays are hard on them. (me too) They are all so obsessive compulsive, wanting everything just the same. After 2 days away from school it seems like they have to totally readjust. One of Scott's good friends came over this evening. He stayed a couple of hours and we shared some funny stories as well as some sad ones. It is nice some of the kids still have time for us and interest in us. I am still picking Adam up from work at 11:30 p.m. Round trip it is 40 miles. I have to nap in the evening and then go get him. When I get back home I can't seem to go right to sleep. It is really exhausting my already exhausted self. Speaking of that, it is time to get ready to go. I don't like to rush. It takes about 30 minutes each way due to lights, etc. Thanks for the comments ladies. Take care. Ginger

I work with children with autism too and yep, Mondays and after holidays can be most challenging. I am glad you are able to find comfort and love at work-that can be so important-we know you were with us in spirit at Charleston-and that Scott was right there too-take care now, Love, Sandy
Sorry to hear about your Mom hopefully the Dr will hospitalize her today if she isn\'t eating. Try to take care of yourself and not get too exhausted. It must be nice to have Scott\'s friends drop by, John\'s did for awhile but not anymore, I miss them too. Love and hugs cathy
SAYING A PRAYER FOR YOUR MOM. PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW SHE IS!!!
LOVE AND HUGS
My hat is off to you and the wonderful service you provide for autistic children. To say you love your work is a testament to the remarkable person you are. I hope your mom is OK. Always something huh? Glad you got to share memories with Scotts friends. Hope there is more of those times. Get some rest. Love Robin
I HOPE THAT Y0UR MOM IS OK AND I AM PRAYING FOR HER!!!
My heart goes out to you for your loss. My only child Daniel died on June 14th. He either had an accident cleaning a gun or killed himself. I\'ll never know for sure. My husband his step father killed himself 10 years ago and he promised me he would never do the same thing. I know it\'s hard but try to be there with your surviving children. I wish I could take away you pain.
