Fri., Aug. 24 '07: It is a hard day today for some reason. I visited Scott at the cemetery thinking it would make me feel closer, or better, or something. It didn't. I started my work at Study Middle School yesterday working with autistic chilren. That is a good distraction but only for a while. I still don't know how to do all this. I don't know how I will ever live without Scott for the rest of my life. It hurts so much and I miss him even more. My husband will be starting an evening job on Monday. That will be a good thing because I feel like I need some space. It will also be a bad thing because I know after just a couple of weeks I will really miss him not being around in the evening. My 20 year old son, Adam, is home a lot but he is busy with the computer, his friends, etc. And, he has to get up at 4 a.m. for work so he goes to bed pretty early. Guess it will turn out however it does. No matter how difficult something is now I know I can handle it. After losing Scott, every other challenge doesn't seem so hard. Well, I think I am finished venting for now. To anyone who reads this, thanks for "listening."

Always willing to listen...and to send you a hug! There is no pain like our pain. I don\'t know how we will live our life without them but we will just have to take one step at a time..little by little. Maybe that is how we do it! Hugs! Love, lana
you can vent anytime to us -hope you can find some peace in the quiet times at home alone
We have a friend on here, Sandart, who is also a special education teacher. She lost her son last Sept. I am going to ask her to hook up with you. Sometimes those who have common interests, are able to help. Nothing seems hard now, I understand that. We are here for you, vent anytime. Lots of hugs, Jake\'s mom, Kathy
We are here to listen to one another. I know that I have thought that going to the cemetery would make me feel closer, and it doesn\'t. I can\'t find a way to feel close except by writing to her. Everyday I write to her even if it\'s just to tell her what went on in the day. And it\'s true after we overcome something like this, we can and will get through anything that life throws our way. God bless and lots of hugs!
I do understand your pain. My son passed July 18, 2007 he was 22. I can say DS has helped me a lot. Getting a hugd from someone just because its great. Im sure you will find it to help you too. Im here for you. Monica
