Sat. July 14, 2007: I don't know what to do with myself. I am tired but restless. My 21 year old son died so unexpectedly. If people aren't around I wonder where they are. If they are around, I want them to go away. I feel crazy. It has been just 3 1/2 weeks. I miss him more every day. Every moment. I have visited the cemetery several times. It still doesn't seem real. I have never done anything harder and have no clue how to do this. Hopefully writing will help. I just feel so lost.

Oh darling, I feel awful for you! I truly understand how horrific your experience has been. People always seem to avoid the \"dead kid\'s mom\" and I just don\'t know why. I wish that our country had a day of remembrance for CHILDREN who have passed. So that the whole world would stop and give us a hug. 5 weeks is not very long. What a tender age to die. I\'m so sorry for your loss.
IM WALKING BESIDE YOU ..HERE FOR U ALSO..TAKE CARE OF URSELF..IM SO SORRY FOR UR LOSS..ITS A HEARTACHE THAT WILL NEVER MEND..BUT WE HAVE TO WALK TOGETHER AND GIVE EACH OTHER STRENGTH TO GET THROUGH EACH DAY**LOVE DIANA**(CODYS MOM)
So many times I have felt like I was going crazy...and I have read this is \"normal\"...so allow yourself those feelings. Your loss is so new...the pain is so raw...and I do understand everything you are feeling and I have felt them too...be kind to yourself...grieve the way you need to...with or without people around. Karen
TOMORROW MY SON CODY WILL BE GONE 14 MONTHS..STILL SEEMS LIKE YESTERDAY..DOESNT SEEM ANY EASIER EITHER..STILL WAIT FOR HIM TO WALK THRU THE DOOR..BUT I KNOW HE WALKS WITH GOD AND ILL SEE HIM AGAIN..HERE FOR YOU ALWAYS..STAY STRONG**DIANA
Writing does help and so does the incredible support on this site. There is a great deal of time that we spend not knowing what to do with ourselves. It has been 1 year and 5 months since I lost my Daddy and it seems like yesterday. I still get restless, but it is not as intense. I am so sorry for your loss and I know how hard it is. It doesn\'t ever go away, but it does get easier. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Take care!!! KRISTIE
I know how you feel everyday is a challenge to get through I tend to take everyday as it comes dont worry about tomorrow forgotten about yesterday. Sounds stupid when I see it in print but it sometimes gets me through the bad days best wishes to you from Julie
