Last night ddmmom was crying and said she couldn't be single parent. She was talking about handing the baby over to the father. He's another dead beat, keeps a job for a month. Revolving door to his parents house. They seem ok , but he's an alcoholic who has hit her in the past, has stolen stuff from my house, was at least last year on drugs...I told her I'd keep the baby. I put her in daycare.So that's where we are today.My dh seems onboard, I don't know if I should give her to paternal grandparents. I don't know how well I'll do with getting up nights with baby. I have to work. I have to pay the bills. Shes 4 1/2 months. She should start consistently sleeping through the night soon...
