Dear DS diary,
Everyone who has been concerned about me this week: Technically, me and my family are okay.  We got a lot of snow from Winter Storm Juno -- couldn't find an official total but I read that it was a tad over 2 feet snow -- but no damage and no power outage where I am.
That said, this has still been a very trying and difficult week.  Snow is a fact of life in New England this time of year, but it's really hard when you get so much at one time that it brings your region to a standstill.
The storm closed the pharmacy for one day, which was a necessity for safety reasons but brought with it some additional heavy stress of its own with our current shorthanded state there.  My immediate supervisor let the owner know in no uncertain terms that we couldn't keep up this week because we literally had no flexibility available.  For his trouble, he got a response that translated to, "I'm aware of it, but you're going to deal with it."
Now we're under a storm watch for Winter Storm Linus coming tomorrow night, with another foot expected from that.  Since we had enough trouble at home finding a spot for the snow from the last storm, it's very possible that at work there will be the same time-crisis situation that broke out this week again next week.  I wilted under the increased pressure this week -- making me feel fortunate that I have today off -- so I'm really concerned about this week coming up.

Snowstorms are a bitch, eh, but this next one is supposed to drop less snow, right? Either way, glad u and your family are okay, and I\'m sure you\'ll get through the next one just fine as well :) peace and lights to ya :)

I\'m relieved to hear from you but sorry you are in such dire straits:(:(
I am glad you and your family stayed safe during it all though.
I know major snowfall is the norm up your way but it sure does cause troubles for a lot of people. I\'m so sorry it amplified your own stress levels:(:(
I hope on your day off you were able to find some way to relax even a little bit. Perhaps you were able to do some meditations (if you do them) or even some light exercises to relieve some of the tension. I really hope you don\'t get that second major snowfall so this coming week won\'t be quite as rough on you.
Take things one at a time, as you can....you will get through this!!
