Dear DS diary,
Today was my big PCC exam, and I was as anxious as can be.  But I showed up for it anyway.  I had to pass so many questions on my first lap around the exam that I thought I was dead in the water.  But enough ones that I knew fell together with enough wild guesses turning out to be right that today ended up being my lucky day.
The passing score was 550.  I scored 608.  Cleared on the first try.
This is cool, but it leads to a new set of nightmares, specifically about next steps from here because now I must do something about my resume and looking for positions.  I don't have the hiding of this exam I can use anymore (and even if I hadn't cleared, the six-month wait I'd be looking at for a retry would kill the hiding spot anyway).  This is very anxiety-inducing given how I feel about people generally, and while I tried to talk about and garner some help from a friend about this last night, getting a clue and actually using it are two different things.
While I was doing that, a contractor came by to level the porch of my house.  That was anxiety inducing as well, because we basically had to empty the porch and my garage now looks like a waste dump.  Trying to do the yard work on Sunday is going to be a nightmare.  We only have to deal with it for one weekend like this, but it's still a pain in the neck.  The only good thing about it is that the contractor brought help and if that same help is there for the finish they'll put most of the stuff back, which is what I'm hoping for.
