Dear DS diary,
Today my sister came over to have a dress fixed up. I don't remember what the dress was for, but it looks pretty. Then she's taking me out first for soft-serve ice cream, and then to mini-putt. Considering I'm not thinking too straight, there's really no reason to stop her (my parents are in on this, too) and basically make the day a throwaway, for lack of better language.
Spent time on Chatzy with a friend last night in the wake of last weekend's emotional disaster at the double party. Seeing as how I've now linked my YouTube channel with a Facebook account, she's thinking I should just run with it and use a couple of the social games there, so I can just shoot the breeze and be protected by a virtual wall, for lack of better language. It's as good an idea as any right now.
Next month, once my new insurance kicks in, I'm going to try to set up an appointment with Mass General Hospital. They have a wing specifically for people with autistic disorders and in my heart I'm hoping they have ideas or answers, or preferably both. But while it makes sense logically, emotionally that's very scary because it will force me to do what so far I haven't been able to with much effectiveness...work with someone I don't know. The odds are much better that I'll lock up.
But I'll come back to that part later.
