Dear DS diary,
After a few nights of actually being able to sleep through for once, problems with said sleep have come back with what can only be described as a vengeance. Last night in particular was bad...I had a nightmare that woke up at quarter of four in the morning, and all I could manage for the next three hours was an occasional brief passing out. This morning I can't even remember what the nightmare was about.
I'm still having a lot of problems thinking straight because it has now been over three months since I was last able to sleep through the night for so much as an entire week without incident. It's showing in my thought process, among other things (it feels whacked and slow at best).
There is little else to add this morning as my brain does not seem to functioning okay.

Sleep deprivation is so very very hard to deal with.
Have you thougth of getting some soothing music (oops I seem to be on a music kick dont I) the kind that is for meditation..like waves or just white noise like a fan. I find that often helps me.
Hey friend...sorry to hear you\'re having trouble sleeping...I totally agree that soothing sounds can work, I use thunder and rain videos on youtube a LOT lol...hope you find something soon that works for you...peace and lights
I would be willing to try that, since that seems to help both of you. ((((((((((hugs))))))))))
I take an all natural supplement called Cortisol Manager..it was recommended to me by my nurse practitioner. It\'s for people who have problems sleeping, especially those who cannot seem to shut their mind off at night. It has worked wonders for me. Available on Amazon.
