This week is going to be kinda kooky; I think I'm stating the obvious when I say the last week and a half did not go as planned. It also has me behind, again, but that seems to happen every semester, and usually right around this time. I have catching up to do in most of my courses, a proposition that will probably take most of the week. But I have a free afternoon Thursday because my family law prof needs to be at a once-a-semester faculty seminar, so it would work out okay. Think I'm going to miss seeing her then, though, she's good.
So...last night one of my friends noted, correctly, that it seems I'm never in a good mood. She's right, my mood meter has never been above yellow. But I really don't know how I can take the stress off when my addiction issues are this rough. This is exactly the kind of week when I really can't allow myself to have any fun (not that I'm good about allowing myself to have fun because I am just terrible), knowing that if I do, what needs to be taken care of is going to go on the back burner and stay there, which would make this even worse.
But that sword cuts both ways. It also means, save for DS, that I have no outlets at night, and I can't tell you how many sleepless nights have been aggravated because I have no trust in anything to take the edge off. The connotation of hiding just won't go away, and I wish that it would, because I have to tell you guys, while it probably wouldn't lessen the sting of my tutoring hunt gone sour, I might not have been so snippy with my chemistry prof -- I almost certainly would have dropped it quietly instead -- if I hadn't been sleep deprived ov it to start with. (right now, some of you who are new probably don't know what I'm talking about with this, so please fire away if you need me to elaborate).

Well, here\'s a thought, maybe when you can\'t sleep fire off a message to me, just vent away, and maybe that will help?
You still have me to help with chemistry :)
Here for you
