I'm lying virtually wide awake tonight, worried about what my advisor is going to say about my emotional blow-up about tutoring that she got the other day. I see her tomorrow because she teaches my family law class, and I didn't get a response back from her last night.
I realize I have harped on this, but having DS friends and YouTube to act as my tutors is not totally all well and good...it gives me the help I need (good) but gives me a convenient excuse to hide behind my people issues because nobody outside of DS apparently wants to give me any incentive to work through them by actually making someone available (bad). Of course this doesn't go into great detail because said major people problem is the female-only quirk when I do need help, but other than knowing that males triggered my absolute worst memories and thus most of my people issues, I really don't know where to start talking about that...almost like someone has to catch me live here and put me on the spot for this to get anywhere.

No it is not an ideal situation, HOWEVER it does allow for you to pass the course and to develop your skills in interacting with people, albeit through the internet.
Your advisor should be held accountable for there being no support available to you. So it is right that you blew a fuse at her. If she mentions anything just apologise and explain that you are frustrated with the whole situation

Actually Amber, I\'m wondering if the tutoring center shouldn\'t be held responsible for this instead. For the number of science courses available, there are woefully few study groups (all higher level than this course) and even fewer tutors for what appears to be no apparent reason. I\'m kinda thankful in retrospect that I blew on a person that I would feel comfortable explaining to that I was more than a little frustrated about this.
